30 day shred. I have questions????? I have noticed the results are amazing from all the pictures I see posted. Which I am truely amazed. I am curious though what exactly does it entail? I have read reviews but I was wondering if there was anything to compare it too.
Areobics? some kind of weight training? How long is the 30 day shred workout and it there alot of jumping around?????

The first level (All ive completed so far haha) goes over lunges, jumping jacks, punches, situps, chest flies, squats, and other various exercises with weights. : ) Its honestly A GREAT WORKOUT. It's only 30 minutes but it's pretty damn intense.0

I like at home circuit training. 2 minutes aerobics, 3 minutes strength, 1 minute abs. Repeated 3 times with different exercises. Lots of jumping in level 1 (jumping jacks, jumping rope, butt kicks) I like it and it is tough if you go full out. I am only on day 2, so no results yet.0

Its more like circuit training. Like 2 minutes of cardio (lots of jumping around!), then strength training and one minute of abs. I think each level is 30 minutes. I've been doing level 1&2 on demand from comcast. Its gives you a pretty intense workout in a small amount of time.0

the only reason I ask about the jumping is that the room that I would be able to do the 30 day shred in is in the part of the house that has the basement underneath.
I am from out west originally, there are no basements where I am from and when my kids run through the room the floor sounds hollow and I am afraid the floor is going to break. (I know it is not) but I can't help it.0 -
still might have to get the results are amazing0

It's both. It's circuit training which is basically just cardio mixed with strength training and you usually do a certain amount of time on one thing before moving to the other. For 30 Day Shred, it's 3 minutes of strength - usually with weights, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute targeting specifically abs. There are 3 circuits of this for a total of about 28 minutes including warm up and cooldown. I just started my third week, so am on Level 3 and I love it. It really gives me a good workout but I have to do cardio afterwards to help from being sore and just because it's not much of a calorie burn since it is only 30 minutes long.0

I wish I had taken pictures and done measurements when I started. I didn't, and so I can't show you that by today, my day 7, I can flex my biceps. But it's true. It's grueling - I especially hate the side lunges with shoulder raises - but it works, and it's only 20 minutes (plus warm up and cooldown.) It's 3 circuits of 3 mins of weight training, 2 mins of cardio, and 1 min of abs, and each circuit is different but effective. You do NOT get breaks. All you need is 3 or 5 lb weights and a mat (though I'm just on the carpet in front of the TV.)0
