Fitness Watch

Hi,
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good heart rate/calorie counter watch? I have a Garmin Forerunner 405 but it doesn't track calories on an indoor workout unless you use a footpod. The watch is quite bulky so I was thinking I could just get a new one cause the footpod is around $90 anyways.

I love my Polar but can't be sure of the model (F11?) -it's an older one- kind of middle of the range polar and it does everything I want it to do except the gps,
I had been thinking about the garmin- and so glad that you mentioned the calories issue- why doesn't it track them with the HRM function? how frustrating!0 -
Mine's a Polar FT4 and it's great - does everything I need. i looked around on here too before buying, and the FT4 was by far the most popular.0

I just bought a Polar FT4 today. It does everything I want it to do - heart rate, calories burned... Just have to wait till morning to use it!0

Polar FT7! I love the thing.. it's really accurate and easy to use/set up. Plus the strap is comfortable.0
