I've recently got Insanity and it appears mental. I would die on that warm up!

Any tips or tricks to help me?

As Nike would say "Just do it"

It IS tough but you can go at your own pace so don't fear it. It will give you quite the work out at any fitness level. I like it and it is INSANE!!

Have you done any high intensity cardio before? It's not something I would just jump into, that could lead to injury. If you haven't done exercises like this before I would recommend at least a few weeks of Jillian michael's Banish fat boost metabolism or a different beach body program like turbo fire. Insanity is meant to lay out athletes, so be careful, use a heart rate monitor and don't try to go at the pace of Shaun t, at least not in the beginning.

Honestly I think the longer one waits before doing insanity in his or her fitness journey the better

I am getting it for my birthday and I am looking forward to starting it! How do you log it in your cardio when you do it? What does it fall under?

Go for it! And good luck. I couldn't do that right now, I'd die. My boyfriend does it and I wonder "HOW?? That's insane!" and he goes "Exactly." Just stay motivated.

I did the plyometrics warmup, I don't think I even made it past the warm-up, gave up after 10 min, mind you I had just finsished banish fat boost metabolism, so was probably already running low low on energy. Hope I'll be able to complete it one day though.

I agree with just do it. You are supposed to not be the best at the beginning. Just do what you can and work at it. The fit test is redone every 2 weeks to see your improvement (you will improve!), so keep at it. I love it, in week 3 right now. I have been exercising for 2 years solidly so maybe that helps, don't know but it is a great program for me. He encourages you to take breaks if you need it and you will sometimes. Get a HRM, lots of water and go for it.

I just jumped into it and it is named appropriately lol. What I did at first was I kept my own pace and made sure i was doing the exercise properly. I am only on day 13 today but I can already keep up with the warm up. Just like he says in the video, go fast but don't compromise form. I cant wait to redo the fit test!

Best advice I can give is to never give up. You will be a little slower-paced and jump a little lighter the first few workouts because the routine is new to your body, and it's designed to get you fit. Stick with it, and at the end of 60 days you WILL see improvement. Remember that there's no shame in taking it down a notch when you're feeling tired, and there's no shame in taking a break during the workout. If you need a break, take one! The cast in the video does it all the time! Just jump back in after a swig of water and a breath or two. The workouts will challenge you, but that's the point! Stick with it and you'll amaze yourself.
