Any good ways to get started?

I've currently lost 3.8kg and passed my previous goal due to a body cleanse I did a few weeks ago. Eating healthy can be expensive, and currently I'm just trying to eat what I usually eat, just cutting down portions to stay under my 1200 calorie a day limit. Cleaning the house burned me 200+ calories the other day for 3 hours, and I've been using Wii Fit but I've heard exercising with that doesn't usually help much. Any suggestions on how I can lose the weight I need and stay in shape without gaining it back? I am currently 133lbs, and would like to be at least 120 by Sept. 6th.
