Breastfeeding & Exercising mums

Hi. Just wondering if there any breatfeeding mums out there who are working on losing weight and exercising. I'd just like to know how you do it and what you do. Need to start exericisng again and looking for motivation.

    Breastfeeding burns a LOT of calories itself.
  • I'm just working out a few times a week on my Wii Fit. I mainly do the cardio on that, since it's been so hot outside. I'm trying to eat more calories though, since I am nursing a 4 month old, but I am still often below my caloric intake on my exercise days. I'm planning on starting Zumba on the Wii, first and then trying it at a class, once I feel more comfortable.

    That's true, I've more or less lost all my pregnancy weight and then some more but really need to get active and lose the belly fat. I needed to lose weight prior to getting pregnant so still feel a need to do that albeit at a slower pace than before.

    :') you could always go running with your baby in a pram/stroller? its what celebrities do... must burn more calories pushing a pram and jogging/running at the same time :)
    you've got to be careful doing that though.
