Arm band VS Chest strap HRM??

    My Polar FT7 has the chest strap, and personally I wouldn't use anything else. It's VERY comfortable...and the accuracy is far greater than models without the chest strap.

    Also, the lowest model of HRM I would go with is the Polar FT4...nothing from Wal Mart compares.

    I have a consumer reports subscription and all of their highest ranked monitors have a chest strap.
