I think that I've pinched a nerve in my hip flex region. I was walking to the car and all of a sudden I felt pain in my inner hip area. I have tried to stretch it all day (as wanted to go for a run) but it has got worse and worse over the day. I really think it's just a pinched nerve as it came on so suddenly. What can I do to make it go away? I really want to get rid of it as I have just started my weight loss journey and don't want this to interrupt my exercise program.

    Don't truly damage yourself...

First - Go to the doctors.
Second - A pinched nerve even after corrected will hurt for sometime.
Third - If you aggravate it you will not be doing yourself any favors.

I completely agree with other posts....you need to rest and let it heal. To continue your weight loss journey, do an arm workout. Good luck :)

You need to see a doctor, you never know what it could be. Rest until you can see one.

I recommend a Chiropractor. Even if you don't have insurance, they are usually only $30-$40 per visit and will actually FIX it instead of just masking it with drugs.

Nooooooooo!!! I was hoping someone would have a miracle cure on here for me. I have taken some pain killers and had a hot shower. I hope to wake up tomorrow and it will all be fine (fingers crossed). Otherwise I'll be off to see a doc in the morning. Thanks for the advice everyone.
