you need good fats to fuel your body.

    olive oil
    peanut butter
    almonds
all good things to get a few more cals with good fiber and fats for your body

Bananas are great to - they actually have more calories than you would guess and they give you that all important potassium. I also like skinny cow ice cream sandwiches - 100 calorie that I find makes a nice after dinner snack and reminds me that I can have things that besides just a salad.

Most importantly though I think you have to teach yourself to eat 'real food' (I’m not talking fast food here just real food) in the right portions, you can not eat chicken salad for the rest of your days and when you reach your goal you want to know you taught yourself new eating habits for life.

I eat steak for dinner – it’s just a much smaller steak with a much bigger salad. I even eat a burger now and then but it’s a burger I have made at home from 96% lean ground beef and a whole wheat bun with a salad instead of fries. This weekend I made chili (the beans are actually great in terms of the fiber) – I used ground turkey instead of beef and not one person that ate it cared or even noticed. Teach yourself how to have a well rounded menu that you can live with the rest of your life.

Get those extra calories in at breakfast time if you're having a harder time, it'll kick start you to wanting to eat more and give you more brain power during the AM hours.
