Anyone else finding themselves constantly below their goals here.... chicken breasts, hard boiled eggs and edamame beans... its so much more work than salad. What do you do to sneak it in to your diet?

  • Any meats! I am not a huge meat fan at all, but I bought turkey pepperoni's and chicken tenderloins that I make with garlic (just throw the chicken on the stove top with garlic sprinkled in there) ....delicious and those 2 items makes me go over my daily limit for protein.

I drink a protein shake 1-2 times a day along with a recovery drink that has 16 grams in it....that with my chicken, cottage cheese, fish, and i don't have a problem getting it in. We sell the stuff so I want to use it to back up my business but I love the way it tastes and no matter what brand you use, protein after your workout helps build those muscles and repair them!

    Greek yogurt!

I try to exceed MFP's protein goal daily. You can look through my diary for ideas.

Whatever you can afford and stomach down.

I've been a big fan of Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey forever. (10lb bag for $80 will last you 3-4 months). But I don't mind the taste... your tastebuds may differ!

I used to like mixing fruit kinds in with plain yogurt but any chocolate ones or drinking any flavour for that reason is barfy to me... ewie. Maybe I'll get some to mix in greek yogurt - double whammie! Thanks guys
  • Pure Isolated & Concentrated Milk Protein- Chocolate Shake (Costco -From the Makers of Muscle Milk). It's not wonderful but easy to get down 8 oz in the am especially mixed with almond or soy milk instead of water. It's 26g of protien for 6-8oz!
  • I eat protein at every single meal! Egg whites, turkey, chicken breast, cottage cheese, milk, and my VI SHAPE milkshakes!!!!!!!!!
