When I get off work today I will be SUPER busy for the rest of the evening, but I want to get in SOME form of exercise. Anybody have any ideas on something quick I can do at home and still burn a good amount of calories? I'm talking like 15 minutes..maybe 20.

I'd recommend investing in Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. Its about 23 minutes with the warm up and cool down and it's quite a workout!!0

jump rope is my fave workout when I don't have much time or I'm on vacation.0

The elliptical trainer is pretty effective if you want a quick workout and burns a good amount of calories. I think I burnt over 200 in 20 minutes this morning!0

I agree,30 day shred is great when your time crunched. Try youtubing sparkpeople fitness they have lots of 5-10 minute workout videos of all variety ( 10 minute abs,10 minute cardio,10 min kickbox cardio,10 min jump cardi,etc)0

Running in place, or jumping on a trampoline?0

Jumping jacks are a great workout. Gets your heart rate up there and burns a ton of calories in a short amount of time.0

I agree the JM workout is great. Hard to get started but once you are done, you feel soooo good!0

Put some music on and shake it!!! This is what I do when I'm cooking meals for my kids and they are fussy..they think it's really funny to see me dancing. They end up dancing with me too. Do you have stairs? Run up and down your stairs a few times, jumping jacks, or try YouTube...type in Zumba, kickboxing, etc.. and you can get a lot of shorter workouts. Hope this helps!0

If you have instant streaming via NetFlix, there is a 10 Minute Solution: Fat-Blasting Dance that you can do in 10 min. increments.0

Anything with jumping is great!
Do a circuit of side to side jumps, like 30 seconds and repeat a few sets of these; walk or shake it out between sets;
You can add in sets of the following:
Jump squats
Jumping jacks
Jump lunges
During your rests between sets you can amp it up with crunches, push-ups, planks, etc.
Even as little as 10 minutes of this type of work out will totally kick your bum!0 -
Oh and google Tabata! It's only a 4-minute workout but it's a SUPER high intensity work out. I personally have yet to do it because I'm afraid .0

Do you have cable? ExerciseTV on-demand has tons of free workout videos and many of them are 10-20 minutes.0
