Too much protein?

My daily protein goal says it should be 49g. I'm always going over that (and nothing else) and was wondering if that is bad. I'm a vegetarian and I am trying to get more protein in my diet and feel better now but without working out regularly/much at all I'm worried this extra protein is a bad thing. Anyone?

You're suppose to eat 1g of protein for each lb you weigh. The MFP settings are very low and based on the food pyramid...which has been found to be incorrect. I take in 120-130g protein daily, from shakes, eggs, tofu, nuts, and of course meat (which I know you won't eat). Xoxo0

So no, extra protein is not a bad thing, as long as its not hundreds and hundreds of extra grams0

I agree - won't do you any harm. My diet tends to be low on protein, so well done on getting it up0
