Don't listen to all those other people. The best way to get flexible is to
stretch!

So your saying stretching helps your flexability?0

Yoga!0

Stretching is key for sure...
I'm still 274 lbs and I'm more flexible than many of the "healthy weight" guys around me - it is amazing what 15 minutes of stretching does for you daily
Also - a lot of CORE workouts are ALSO stretches in their own rights...0 -

Stretch and Yoga can help. But flexiblity also exists on a continum. I am a human pretzel, I don't have to stretch, Always have been. So only push yourself so far, You want to feel it but shoudln't hurt
BTW... you would look good with bangs0 -
Yoga and wow would you guess it stretching lol..0

Dont forget to warm up before stretching though or you might pull everything.0

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that you stretch.
If that doesn't work I would suggest a rack.

No bouncing while stretching a gentle controlled stretch is best.
Stretching should NEVER EVER hurt!!
If you are grimacing and grunting in pain you are doing in wrong your muscles will want to snap back and become less flexible.
Slow gentle stretching you should feel a slight pull, but not pain.
Be patient and hold it for a while, relax all the muscles that are not needed to hold your position.
Each day you should be able to go a little further. Although it may take you awhile before you it's enough to notices. Still slow gentle and steady0 -

you have alot of good advice here......just to add a few things....
-you will be more productive if your muscles are warm so get that blood moving with some cardio before you begin
-you'll probably have more success if you don't stretch too early in the morning
-repitition......you'll see more of a difference the more you stretch (once a week, not so much)
Good luck stretching is great for you. You'll notice less body injury if you are more flexible.0 -
