I just upped my calories by 400 the beginning of the month because I started the New Rules of Weight Lifting program. I am having surgery next week and will not be able to exercise for a week or so. Since I will be pretty much just laying on the couch and in the bed all day should I lower my calories back down while I recover?

I would suggest that you don't worry about calories and concentrate on eating healthy foods that give you the nutrition. Veggies, legumes and fruits, along with some sunshine.0
