I started my journey 3.5 years ago weighing in at around 235-240. A size 22. I couldn't even walk a mile without stopping or even up a teeny hill. A teeny hill that my dad a man 30 years my senior and a problem could clip up. I knew change was eminent. I just focused on gaining fitness and cleaning up my diet. The following year I did a 10K and never looked back. I have gained so much perspective on who I am and what I am capable of. I have days when I feel a bit less than confident and I glance over and see medals hanging on my wall and race bibs and realize I "got it" . I also realize that when I was big I never ever EVER in a million years thought I would be running race a month or even attempting a triathlon. If there is any doubt you CAN do it guys. Light the fire inside ablaze and kick some serious hiney. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!
