Any struggles that has been hard to get out of? Is it food/workouts, or so on? Food can be a constant struggle for me..sometimes i feel like i need more "breaks" then I should, and try my best to avoid them and stay on the wagon. Thats my stuggle, and how I can try to help myself avoid them. I do eat everything in moderation, go over on calories once in a while when i need to..so i don't feel deprived. I hate feeling deprived!

Eating w/ my family is tough. I love the food they make but it's so unhealthy. I really have to watch my portions.0

I don't think I am eating enough and I struggle to make myself eat more.0

As wedding day approaches, I seem to be getting busier and busier, so it's messing up my workout schedule. I still do more workouts of course, but sometimes they get pushed into the late-night.0

I have some sort of oral fixation, so not eating as much/often is killing me! I was stuffed today after my oatmeal breakfast, but around eleven I was sitting here thinking "I'm not at all hungry, but damn it I want to eat something crunchy". I downed some water, chewed a piece of gum, downed some more water, and it still nagged at me. I think I might start bringing crushed ice to work so I can chew on that if I get the urge.0

Wine
I like to have a glass of wine with dinner a couple of times a week (usually Friday & Saturday), but it is high in sugar.0 -
Struggling to take off the 7 pounds I've gone up since my low weight (which was still over goal.) I've upped the exercise a bunch (by my standards), and am being more cautious about my diet. It was easier coming off the first time....0

Not feeling deprived is a good practice. That's whay I believe in giving yourself a cheat day once in a while.0

Portion control is a big problem with me. I never really noticed what the serving size was until I started this. It's been difficult.0

Sounds weird but true. I tend to forget to eat. I get distracted and then hours later wonder why my blood sugar has dropped. Then I remember....
Working out is something of a problem also. Hoping to fix that soon. New YMCA is opening soon and I want to join. It's just a few minutes from home and on the way to work.0 -
I'm currently stuggling to get under the 300lb mark. I started at 326 and feel like I've been stuck at 303-305 FOREVER!0

i have stayed at the same weight since early May....I am frustrated. this is a long long plateau. lots of family stuff going on and i am
tempted to eat "emotionally" but so far holding that off.....need to see some payoff soon!0 -
I have been under a lot of stress lately and that has impacted my will to eat well. Also, I've been going to my parents' house more often as a sort of "getaway" from the stress, or because I have to go for some reason or another and they eat out all the time. I love eating at restaurants so it's hard. I've started doing better the last day or so, though, now that the stress is working itself out a little more. I even walked a couple miles today!0

Tewsy has a very interesting point: I swear, that "serving size" thing is sort of a scam: people just look at the Calorie per Serving, without realizing that they actually ate 3 servings, or 4. Tewsy is absolutely right, keeping a daily diary on MFP is an eye opener in terms of portion control. As for our friend who started the thread, it sounds as though you know what to do, so keep doing it :flowerforyou:0

Really just getting enough exercise now it's the holidays. My boot camp sessions have finished until September and I am having to run in the evenings after my husband gets home, so I can't do more than about 45 mins before it gets dark.0

Right now my struggle is related to a medical issue which is sapping me of energy, making it very difficult to eat and when I can eat (without pain, ie. doped up on meds) then I can't eat much so usually it's something processed and soft - funnily enough my sodium, fibre, carbs, etc., have been looking a lot better though! Also, I'm in school right now so working out is not going well (that coupled with no energy and being on meds - which I'm not used to). SUCKS!!!! I haven't even weighed in days and usually I weigh every day.0

No doubt it is my problems with emotional eating. Eating from boredom, eating from stress, eating from depression. working out is an issue too as I am tired ALL THE TIME!. There is alot of personal, family and work issues going on and it isn't helping because it all feeds into the emotional eating. Not sleeping well either right now, that doesn't help with the being tired part.0
