Hi everyone!
I've been using MFP for a while now, but I haven't posted much on the boards...
My name is Katie, I'm 28. I've always been relatively slim/small (I've been relatively the same size since high school - usually a size 4, somewhere around 115lbs), but I noticed my pants fitting a bit tighter after moving into my own place last year.
I hopped on a scale on June 2nd, and weighed in at 126.1, and realized I should get a handle on this now, before it go too out of hand. As of Sunday, I weighed 112.1. I'd love to lose that last 2 pounds, but I'm okay if I don't.
So, right now, I'm focussing on eating well, and balanced, and running + getting strength.
I also find myself being the primary motivator for my boyfriend. He's currently sitting somewhere around 250-300... and he wants to get down to at least 200, or an XL shirt size. I'm trying to coach him on what to eat (he'll be moving in with me in 10 days, so I'll be able to help him even better then!) and different types of exercises, though I'm a newbie in this respect too.
Anyway... I just thought I'd say hi! If anyone has any advice on how to motivate my man, please do share!
