Never hungry

I feel like i have to make my self eat. I could eat once a day and be completely fine. Is that bad should i be eating 3 or more times a day??? im not eating and still not losing any weight..

  • you have to get at least 1200 calories into your body or else you will go into starvation mode after like 6 or so weeks of going under and you won't lose weight. Try protein shakes to get some more calories in your body.

    You should be eating 5-6 times a day. Most people that eat one meal are over weight. You start retraining your body to want the food. Eat within 30-60 min of waking up in the morning. You have to be consistanT with it all. YOu have to Feed your body to loose weight. If your not getting enough then your body stores the food as Fat

    There have been times I've been under 1200 cals but still eat something to get my minimum of 1200 a day. If you aren't that hungry, look for fruit or healthy things. :)

    Food is fuel for our bodies. I was told that it is best to feed it every 2.5 to 3 hours. Not huge amounts of food... small meals. 200 to 300 calories per meal.

    I would say your body has become used to this routine... and when you do feed it - it is storing up what it can as fat so it can use it later when it needs energy.

    On the TOOLS tab - figure out your BMR. I am not sure what your goals are... but if you aren't giving your body enough calories - that can be just as bad as giving it too many.

    Eating once a day is bad. Your body will grab those calories and keep them. 3 to 6 small meals a day is much better for you. Even if it is just a meal replacement drink. I use Carnation instant breakfast with almond milk at least once a day. Keep veggies and fruit all prepared in the fridge so you can just grab a handful. I have bananas, apples, strawberry's and pineapple in the fridge all the time. I also get the fiber bars for when I am at work.
