so today at work staff meeting first thing. this means donuts, almost always. ugh.
so I motivated myself to get up and work out before going to work.
a 515 am spin class is hard core.

however, when I looked at the donuts, there wasn't one that I wanted bad enough....like they were okay, but not my faves, definitely not worth the calories, but even more than that, the sugar crash....ugh. followed by the cravings. I have sweets, now and then, but starting off first thing in the a.m. probably would have been a disaster for the entire day.

so I passed on the donuts. it wasn't hard. I didn't have to fight much. hardly at all.

this evening, I enjoyed some ice cream with my family. made a good choice and had a reasonable portion. I enjoyed it (I LOVE LOVE LOVE ice cream).

And I still have calories left over! woot woot.

So that is a victory for me..:drinker:

That is very cool! Way to go! And way not to give into the donuts just because they were there! I'm still not at that point yet!

As I say its all in your mind!!! As soon as you train your brain so that you can control its impulses you'll see that its not that hard to pass on certain things.

Next time try to pass on one of your favorites!! That's the challenge! :)

    Well done!

Excellent! I have noticed I will take a pass on the sweets, because I just don't like the way they make me feel, and also because I don't want to waste the calories! Way to go!
