Im having a really hard time getting the 8 glasses of water in a day.
I always have a water bottle of flavored water once a day which counts for two glasses
And when I take certain pills at the end of the night I have a glass of water with that
I have a really small bladder so I hate drinking because Ill have to go to the washroom like 5 times in an hour
do you think this would stop if i drank more?
like is the water just going through my system cleansing me right now?
and will it effect my weight loss if I dont drink a lot of water???

I had to pee every 30 seconds for about 2 weeks. Now it is better, and more back to normal. It just takes time for the body to adjust.

I had to do bladder training after having kids. You just go every half hour like clockwork and then taper off. You can do exercises too. It does work! It takes some time though.
  • i am the same way....i hardly drink any water(which is absolutely horrible for me i know!)...i maybe drink 1 or 2 glasses a day. I already spend way too many trips to the bathroom :(
  • glad im not the only one with this problem

I drink anywhere from 150-170 oz a day typically. The first week I was burning more calories running for the bathroom than anything else! Now, my body has adjusted and everything is back to normal.

I try to drink water with every meal except for maybe breakfast because I usually have milk in the mornings. I don't drink 8 glasses a day either, I only drink maybe 3 daily. Though, sometimes I have a flavored waterbottle with me almost all day then I bring another bottle of water with me to my almost daily workouts.

I'm not a big fan of water :\ I've been pretty much forcing myself to drink the 8 a day.. If I took say a bottle of water, and added a snapple tea mix to it would that count as a water haha :(?

I just got a tip today from one of my buddies on MFP.. she told me that I should keep drinking lots of water because when you're involved in activity and you're hydrated, you burn up more calories.. *crossing my fingers and hoping its true*

*side note* Funny story today.. SInce i'm drinking all this water I had to stop into the park bathroom during my exercise walk.. for starters I REALLY HAD TO GO.. didnt help that I was shy because the park ranger was in the mens bathroom and darn those echoing bathrooms... ANYWAYS.. i almost didnt make it.. ~~~~~~ Advice: Never get knots in your drawstring shorts when you drink loads of water.. ~~~

Drinking at least 8 glasses of water is one of the main key's to weight loss. You need to drink the water to flush out the fat and the toxins in your body. Lot's of water = lots of weight loss. I hate water as well however I am forcing myself to drink it. I put lemon juice or lime juice in it. I might do a splash of no sugar added juice (a splash.. maybe a teaspoon at most). I also have a water bottle (by Thermos from Target) that has a dial on it so you can keep track of how many bottles of water a day you drink. It's a great tool!

My doctor told me that for weight loss, you need to take your weight, divide it in 1/2 and thats the amount of water in oz. you should be drinking. Ex. weight=200lbs./ by 2 = 100 lbs= drink 100 oz of water a day.

Try to stay away from water enhancers like Crystal Light as they are 100% chemicals and are HORRIBLE for your body and your health!
