What are your thoughts on carb cycling when one cannot exercise much cardio?

I am 2 months post op from a huge knee operation and I have successfully lost approx. 25lbs. Thing is, I think I've hit a plateau because the darn scale won't budge past 140 and I'm eating 1150-1200 calories a day.

Back when I did fitness shows, I would carb cycle once a week and found that it helped tremendously with not only cutting fat, but also keeping my sanity. Now that I can only do about 30 minutes on the bike per week ( and some light weight and abdominal training) I'm wondering if this will still work?

There's only so much low-carb I can do :S

I gave it a try about a month ago when I wasn't exercising at all.

And I lost nearly 2 pounds that week, most of which was calculated as fat.

So, yeah, I would say that it will work for you. I just started doing it again on Monday as I am past all the obstacles that were slowing me down, so now I can continue to work at it and lose the fat.

    So what are people's breakdowns?

Do you do 1 carb up day every 3 days? Every week, have a carb morning every 2 days?

Just interested in doing something different ;)
