the body fat % is different for everyone...i'm at 25% and can make out a 4ish pack.

its all about eating clean, natural foods and lots of fruits and veggies. Keep the processed food to a minimum. I'm a veggie but if you eat meats, stick to lean cuts and organic or grass fed beef and free range chickens (fewer hormones which will screw up your metabolism).

bottom line...eat clean and be active!

I have the same issue I am not fat at all weighing in at 119 but after 6 kids my stomach looks like I am WAY over weight! Anyways I was told that is normally the last thing to form and as long as you stick to eating calories etc like your suppose to and staying active it eventually will go away. ( I am 45 days in change and I see no difference but others do and my clothes do so that is a start)

There are exercises you can do to tone those muscles (I'm sure people will have suggestions), but as for losing the fat on top of the muscles, you can't really spot reduce like that. Aerobic exercise, and all over increased muscle mass will help you burn fat all over.

My hubby and I are doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred program, and she claims the reverse crunches tone that area. They're REALLY hard to do! :grumble:

It usually all comes down to overall bodyfat%. However, if you've had children, there may be some excess skin and no exercise or diet will get rid of that. Only option at that point would be surgery, but make sure that you do EVERYTHING you can naturally do before that last resort.

That's the last place to go. We've all heard it before...you can't spot reduce. I know you work out hard...just keep doing what you're doing and it will start moving eventually.
