Just posting my update... I've been out of town for a week or so, watched my weight fluctuate daily, and was surprised to see the result this morning!

Week 3 - 246 lbs (Tuesday August 23)

Wow! It went down?? Although I'm rather upset that I won't be losing anything CLOSE to 10 pounds this month... I am glad that what I had gained has come off already. That's good, right?

Lost in August so far 0 lbs (1 lb gain) - the combination of completely falling off the wagon due to my thesis, huge amounts of junk and snacks and a big weekend (in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrations!)
Got to give my thesis first priority so will be back when the first draft is in. Really missing this so that's a great incentive to getting my thesis done!
I will try and remember to weigh in on Monday and after that will hopefully be able to get back to my 30DS and walking at least.

I'm in the process of giving this a try - had three days off in the last five, and feel good about the R&R&R (rest, relaxation, recovery!).. I'd like to finish August with a great loss!0 -
Wow some of you guys are so close to the 10lbs! I will be absolutely ecstatic if I lose 5lbs! which is just one more pound to go! but as last week I lost 2.2lbs Im going to push hard for the rest of the week to try and manage the same! Hopefully I will. Tomorrow is swimming so that will be my rest day

Well my weight loss for August has been up and down. . truly frustrating. . So I have made a number of dietary changes and workout changes hoping to shake it up. .
Presently I am at 220.90 -
Due to the hurricane about to hit I may not get to update my weight until later this week. I will try my best to get it in before Wednesday, unless the electricity is out too long.0
