I'm definitely in! It seems that no matter how hard I try, I can't get out of the 180's bracket. Here's a good chance for me to kick it in the *kitten* with some great people! First challenge since I've joined. =]

I need you to post your weight by Wensday of each week. If you mess a week I will delete your name from the database enless you tell me what is going on a head of time. Remember 1-2 pounds a week is healthy weight loss. almost no one ever looses the 10 pounds a month so don't let that discourage you.

Please can I join in? It will be a challenge as we are away for the last two weeks of August but I am keen to keep up the shrinking action. I've managed to lose 11lbs during July, my first month of being here and starting my weight loss journey. I am facing major surgery on 3rd October (total hip replacement) which seems like a good reason to try to become slimmer and fitter. I have had ME/CFS for 23 years and have gradually become more and more cuddly. Now it has to stop. What I like about this site is that I am learning healthier eating and cooking habits, and had managed to build up to 30 minute swimming sessions until last week when a cut finger meant no immersion. My friend CarolTina introduced me to MFP and we have managed to match each others' weight loss over the past month. I know that it's going to get harder now the beginning phase is over.
