On week 6 of C25k, and addicted, I don't know RYBO though.

Ok, I just checked out RYBO. I'd do C25k again before paying for anything. C25k is free, the app is free, the downloads are free, it's easy, it starts you off easy and then BAM, you realize you've 'run your butt off"

Have you lost any weight with C25K?

From what I can see RYBO is more directed towards weight loss and includes nutrition information. Couch to 5K is a program specifically made to help you train for a 5K. I completed C25K and absolutely loved it!

I completed C25K, I don't think it ever directly made me loose any weight.

Eating smarter and healthier has made me loose way more than any cardio. The running and c25k and all that stuff just makes me want to BE healthy. After a run, looking at a cookie or a piece of cake, isn't appealing. Glass of water and some carrots is what my body craves then.

Combined with eating well, I have lost weight with C25K. In my opinion, running is the best way to lose weight. And C25K actually makes you LIKE running because you're never really feeling like you're going to die in a workout. It really takes you on a nice path to getting into good running shape. I know for me I always used to hate running because I always felt awful during the runs and that feeling deterred me from wanting to ever run again. But with C25K the runs start getting harder around week 5 and week 6, but they never feel impossible. And you can look back and see how much progress you've made and be amazed because you really didn't kill yourself trying to do it.
  • I've never heard of RYBO either but for someone like me who hasn't run their entire life, I like the C25k. I'm only on week one, but I'm also pairing it up with other things and have lost 4lbs so far, which is crazy! I really like the C25K. I feel better after I run, which I never thought would happen. Maybe try both out and see which one you'd like better. Like try the first exercise, or even the first week of C25K and then try to RYBO and that should tell you which you'd like more.
