Has anyone ever done the Daniel Fast? Our church is getting ready to do it, and I was thinking about it, but I don't know. Any tips or recipes or things I should know about, before I decide? Or get started? Thank you!

    I had done it before, and I was already a Vegetarian before hand. I thought it was difficult. I just think my heart wasn't in the right place to do so. I wanted to do it to "lose weight" and not to grow closer to God. Which made me stop the fast after about seven days.
