Just joined up today...
I started eating healthier and exercising a couple weeks ago, i'm not sure if i've lost any weight because i don't have a scale but i plan to buy one tomorrow so i can keep better track.
My inspiration comes from 2 of my cousins, both of who have lost 70+ pounds in the last year. I only wish i hadn't wasted the last year because i could be where they are at now but i won't dwell on it i can only look forward to the future.
I am approximately 220-225lbs and I think my goal weight will be 150 though i will reassess when i get there. The largest i've ever been was about 245lbs and that was back in 2006 at the end of high school then i started working construction and that following summer i had gone from a size 20 pants to a size 11 and was feeling pretty good about myself but unfortunately i gained back most of the weight within the next year and have maintained 225 for the past few years. I plan to stick to the lifestyle change that i have started, i have stopped drinking soda and sweet teas and mainly drink water now, i no longer eat fast food(i don't even like fast food anyways) and have added more fresh fruits and veggies to my daily diet. As far as exercise goes i currently am riding about 6 miles a day on my bike which equals about 45 minutes and a few days a week i do a yoga/Pilates workout which is also about 45 minutes long. I'm hoping this works for me..we'll see!
