Kinda mean last night
So both my wife and I have been watching what we eat. Last night my wife was having a night were she felt really "snacky" so what did I do. I put on "Dinners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" on the food network. It was about Kentucky BBQ places. Soo mean, but by the end I was snacky too ;-)

Oh man. The Food Network is dead to me because of this. And Travel Channel's "Man Vs Food" is hard to watch without starving to death by the end.0

To be quite honest, every time I watch this it makes me full to where I don't want to eat. I have seen so many of this show to where it doesn't affects me.... I usually drink water while watching, maybe that helps me stay fuller.....0 -
I watch the food network at night, and while it makes me want food, I think it is a great way to teach discipline to myself.0

I actually find Man v Food a very effective appetite suppressant. Not that I don't like the show.0 -

My son discovered Man vs. Food on Netflix and that resulted in a Man vs Food marathon at my house! Oh my goodness...I didn't know whether to be impressed w/the guy, or repulsed, when he would do his challenges. However, my son took the same challenge, in a Des Moines restaurant, that the M vs F guy took. They both failed and are probably on the Wall of Shame! lol0 -
I watch both DDD and MvF, and usually doesn't make me hungry, because the majority of the food is MEAT MEAT MEAT and the only meat I eat is fish, so it's just another channel......now, I've watched a chef program, can't remember which one, and it was real torture, because it was that French chef who works with CHOCOLATE!! OOOOH! But I make all my own chocolates candies...creams, truffles, etc....giving 99% away as gifts so I don't hardly eat any of them...0

I love the food network and got really into DDD when I learned I was gluten intolerant. I'd literally just watch it for hours to get over the cravings. It wasn't really a high point in my life, and man, it didn't really help.
Man v. Food is something I watch when I'm hungry bc seeing all the food fills me up. No idea, but MvF is filling to watch. Ultimate.0 -
This is the challenge my son took while in Des Moines for the Drake state track tourney. Just scroll down until you see the Emmenecker Challenge -
