I just tried this today, and it was very yummy. It's a good alternative if you like a lot sugar or artifical sweeteners on your apples.

Ingredients:

1 medium apple
1 tablespoon honey
Cinnamon to taste

Directions:

Chop apple. Put honey in a microwave safe bowl, add a little bit of water (less to make it syrupy, and more to make it saucey), sprinkle with as much cinnamon as you like. Microwave for about 1min then stir. Add in apple and mix it up.

You can also try microwaving it again for a hot apple treat. I have not done this yet though, so I don't know how it will turn out.

  • Sounds Yummy! hopefully will help with my craavings of apple pie1
  • Some variations I just thought of:

Add some nutmeg in with the cinnamoon.

    Add in some walnuts.

Crush a graham cracker on top in place of a crust.
  • Oh, and this is also great with banana instead of apple.

And on top of waffles instead of syrup (it really reminded me of apple pie!) =D
