Anyone now of some good ones? I currently have 3, 5 and 8 lb weights and sometimes I feel on certain things I will need heavier

I need more versatility in my weight training sometimes they are too light other times to heavy with doing weight training I need more adjustable ones I saw these but am leary for the bad review :

    Craigslist!

I got a weight bench, barbell, dumbells, and weight plates for barbell & dumbells for $75. There are more for sale in my area and we're thinking about getting another set just for the weight plates.

Check anyway... I live in a small town, but a lot of the listings are for outlying areas... and these are the things that don't "go" as fast because people from the city don't want to drive out to get them.

As an alternate selection, WalMart has a Gold's Gym dumbbell / weight plate set for, I think it was around $50.

    *chuckle*

This is the kind of thing I was thinking about at WalMart... Amazon is better. http://www.amazon.com/Cap-Barbell-40-Pound-Dumbbell-Set/dp/B000VCDXNS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311889876&sr=8-1
  • i'd buy two dumbbell handles and some weight plates. it will be your cheapest option, and you can buy more plates as needed or add a barbell, etc... although it might take a few more seconds to adjust than the ones that sell for $200+
