When I sprained my ankle badly, I starting Wii Boxing and/or just shadow boxing while sitting on my exercise ball... great arm and core workout that also can get your heartrate up.
Just because you can't do your normal workout, doesn't mean you can't work out at all.0 -
When I had foot surgery, I was still going to the gym and getting some type of WOD in. Do stuff that's sitting and strength building. I did a lot of kettlebell swings sitting in a chair, presses, one arm dumbell lifts. How about sit ups, pushups (go to your knees) pullups, flutterkicks, v-ups, floor wipers. There are a ton of stuff you can do from a seated or laying positions that will give you a good workout - it just takes some creativity.

If you usually have a large deficit and now have little to non always remember MFP builds on in for you! SO as long as youa rent going over you can still lose, probably just not as quickly as you were before0

I injured my ankle five weeks ago. I have been able to stick to my daily goal for the most part and have continued to loose just a bit slower. I worked out some on the exercise ball watching workout videos with small weights just moving my arms..... got a bit boring but it works. I can now ride a bike or workout on a stationary bike and plan to add some water aerobics as soon as possible. Where there is a will there is a way. Hope your foot heals soon.0
