Hey everybody! So...I just signed up for my first 5k run today! YAY! But I'm not a very good runner. I know there are many people on here that do lots of 5k and larger runs and I was wondering, what do you do to prepare for your upcoming run? What do you suggest for people like me to do to build up stamina in order to be able to completely run a 5k? I would love to run or jog the entire thing but I find I get winded VERY easily. Any suggestions?

Run lots
Start with the c25k and aim to run 3-4 times a week. It doesnt matter how fast you go.

I have started C25K week 4...definitely the training program to use. C25K is a "9" week program...designed to run each week 3 times. It has been very good for me so far!0
