I made it through day one!!!!

I made it through day one and I was just barely, within 20 calories, under my goal. I'm thinking I should get to count my water as double since I drink out of HUGE tupperware water bottles LOL Maybe tomorrow I will throw in some housework since my daughter comes home from camp Saturday! I'm so excited!!!!! I thought if I took a few days I could figure this site out a little better and then try to take off. I bought the 30 day shred and hope it's here by next week so I can join some of these challenges they have going on. Any takers?

    Each cup/glass of water that you track is 8 oz. So, if you're drinking from a 16 oz container, it would count as 2 cups.

    Sounds like a plan! I ordered mine on Walmart.com for $7 I was excited! I'm hoping it gets to the store quickly but if it takes a little while then I'll have to learn some patience :)

    My glasses are about 14-16 oz and my tupperwares at smallest are 25 oz so maybe I should count higher :)

    Welcome!!! I drink out of a liter bottle, so 4 cups each. It is way helpful because I would never drink as much water as I do without it! As for the 30 Day Shred, it is number 1 in my Netflix queue, so I should be getting it on Monday. I figure renting it is better than buying at this point because I have no clue if I can even do 5 minutes of it!

    Jillian likes squats which I hate! I figured out that you can still get benefits from doing them less deep and it's not as hard on the knees and I figure better the shred at 20 minutes per workout than p90x at 90 minutes a workout!
  • I'm bout half way through my day one. Hubby is working this program, and he's dropped six pounds plus in a week! Wonder how day two will go?

    My day 2 food intake is going to kick my but because I have a surprise appointment a few hours from home which means eating out and I didn't really want to do that :(

    Just did day 2 of the Shed it was a little easier but still tough on this 50 year old body, lots of sweat...Good luck all
