I am in love with Netflix. Plain and simple. No more re-runs or watching shows I really don't care to watch.
Any one else a fan?
Any suggestions of a good show or documentary to watch?
Those are my favorites.

Here is my favorites/ suggestions:
In no specific order... Be warned: I have a unique taste...

1. Flash Forward (tv show)
2. Persons Unknown (tv show)
3. Ancient Aliens (tv show... Awesome! If you're into that kinda stuff... A total mind blower if you're open-minded)
4. Freakonomics (documentary)
5. The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (documentary.. Train wreck you can't look away from)
6. The Universe (tv show)
7. Eyes of the Mothman (documentary)
8. Fetishes (documentary... Disturbing yet entertaining)
9. Bigger, Faster, Stronger (documentary... About steroids)
10. Capturing the Friedmans (documentary)

Okay well I could go on and on and on... But let's hear your Netflix favs/suggestions!

OK but curious what your thoughts are on the 60% price increase if you keep both DVD usage & instant view? I have both so it's a shocker to have it raised so high all at once.

I did read why they need to ...that the Networks are pulling shows because Netflix grew so big and is making mega bucks now so Networks feel they should get more money to have their shows aired on there.

I read that on the Net, don't know how true it is, it was a Netflix article so who knows.

I adored Netflix since I've had it a number of years but that was really a bummer when I heard about the increase. I simply don't watch enough DVDs fast enough to make it work $15 a month.

But I do enjoy the instant and I'll add to the list ones I've loved later over the weekend. :o) I'll definitely keep the instant watch though.

My apologies if this sounded like a ***** session as I really didn't intend it too... I guess I'm simply curious how others have felt that have been long time members on the changes? :flowerforyou:

It's a bummer but I'll still keep it. It's totally worth it for me. I'm sure the majority of users will keep it as well. It's just too convient and how can you go from having Netflix to NOT? impossible. Lol
I do love it, it's handy, fun and convenient! I'll keep the instant and likely drop the DVD for now. But otherwise I'm cool with it, I've had it for quite awhile and gotten a lot of entertainment out of it. :drinker:

Yea, businesses have this crazy tendency of raising prices when they wish to expand undervalued services and increase profits... shame on them.....

    $8.96 normally (online only)

$15 with the price increase is still significantly cheaper than the $49.99 they want for basic cable in my area.

I just wish they would somehow find a way to stream football...I'd be in heaven. =)

Dont take this as a rant, just saying. =)

Sherlock Holmes- is that the 1955 version?
I might have to check that out.
I am on a huge Twilight Zone & Alfred Hitchcock Presents kick!
93/138 TZ episodes watched so far!

I agree, still a pretty good deal, I think what bothers some is it going from the $ 1 extra for DVDs monthly unlimited to paying separate for that now. Just a bit of a shocker for some I think. But that's how it is with Cable, and every other utility, prices go up.

No, it's the new series from BBC. Amazing! There are 3 episodes and they are making more!
