How is this a daily goal/limit??? I mean a cup of blueberries alone has 14 grams. Does this seem low to anyone else?

Yep, I'm always over my sugar limit, on my healthy soup its 10g. I really struggle being below my target on a good day! Any advice,

I don't track sugar as I would have to limit my fruit and you have got a snowballs chance in hell of me dropping fruit out my diet ;)

Oh believe me, I don't try to stay under 27 grams lol. I might do some research and bump it up some.

Yes, my friend said to me that "I've never met anyone who got fat from eating fruit and veg", i think there is some truth in this :noway:

Lol, seriously. I moved mine up to 90 grams. It'll still be quite little sugar for me, but it's a goal. :)

I wish foods came with "added sugar" on the labels. Obviously a cup of fruit isn't the same as a Snickers.

I try to stay within the limit, but if I go over, as long as it's not a processed sugar, I feel alright.

Unfortunately sugar is an (extremely) important factor in weight management, so if you want to lose weight or even maintain it, you need to cut out unnecessary sugars. I stay under my limit... or just above it, by making most of my food myself, that way I know exactly what is going into it. It sounds like you're eat a lot of sugar; you might want to consider weaning yourself off to a lower amount just because it is so bad for you. Best of luck!

I have a weakness for the odd jawbreaker. ;) Other than that, I don't really eat candy... and I try to find the least processed foods so I'm working on it. :)
