I just did half of my crunches for the day. Now I remember why I despise them so!

I do water aerobics for an hour and a half every other day. I just log it as swimming laps, light to moderate. What would be the best way to determine the distance?

I have asked our head lady about this, Hthfamily. I will let you know as soon as I know, k?

    How's everything going today, ladies?

    i did good today 1 i think:bigsmile:

nutrition: i'm not sure what is for dinner yet but will be under calories today.
crunch's - did the 50...hate crunchs but did them
cardio max cd- 60 minutes, 268 calories.
exercise bike - 20 minutes - 6 miles....98 calories. ought to get some extra points there at least.

now to keep it up. unsure if i can do those windsheild wiper things coming up. back issues. will try. but i think it's really more about doing what you can vs points anyway:flowerforyou:

Yay Team! Hey Ladies...Hope you have all had a fabulous day! Thank you Misty for creating this link and posting the challenges for Week 1. Awesome to have them all in one spot!

EDIT: Not so great news for my miles today. I've been counting my steps at work and although I dont count it in my exercise journal (because I only want to count intentional excercise)...I wanted to count it for this challenge since its based on miles per day. I did 11943 steps at work today. (My numbers on work days WILL CERTAINLY be higher than my days off) I asked Jen if this would count/be acceptable calculating and she said the challenge should be additional excercise only. So my steps today wont count, but I promise to do some intentional miles going forward.

So My Challenge Update For Friday: I Ate Under My Calorie Goal, Did My 50 Crunches... But No Miles That Count Towards The Challenge:ohwell: Sorry Ladies!

I walked a mile today and have done my 50 crunches but sadly was unable to stay under my calorie intake. I had a girls day today that ruined it for me. I now the list and I am gonna do better I promise.

I did water aerobics for an hour and a half. I did 200 crunches in the pool if that counts. With the calories burned with the workout, I am under calories for the day. I did not eat that great today but will try harder tomorrow. I even drank my water today. These challenges do push you, don't they? Thanks for everything!!

Wow! We are off to a good start. Still waiting on the answer to the cardio question, but here's our totals for yesterday: 140 points and 150 minutes of cardio.

Today, make sure you get at least 10 cups of water in...that's going to be a hard one for me, but knowing that you all are counting on me will help a lot!

O'll check in a little later today!

    Good Morning Ladies!

We ARE Doing Great! Oh, and I did 80 min of cardio yesterday...so if we get an answer that cardio counts...you can use that towards our totals.

I'm off to walk a couple miles...I'll Check In Later Girls!

    Have A Fabulous Day!

Hi Ladies!!! Hope You All Had A Great Day!!! Reporting On My Day:

Nutrition Goal: Water Exceeded! I Had Over 11 Glasses (92oz!!!) :drinker: Whoo Hoo!

Excercise Goal: NOPE...I was only able to do 6 without unbearable pain! Whew..but those are a good motivator!

Miles: Walked 4 Intentional Miles Today

Cardio: 30 Minutes Of Wii Free Step

    See You Tomorrow!!!

Awesome!! I got an answer for the cardio...here's what she says.

So, starting today (we will not backtrack on yesterday's points), for every 20 minutes of cardio (not including the time you spend to do the daily exercise challenge), you will earn a mile (10 points). So, say you do Zumba for 45 minutes - we'll count that as 2 miles or 20 points. Does this make sense?

So, give me your cardio minutes too! :-)

The hour and a half of swimming laps and doing aerobics will count as cardio, right?

Calories below, water aerobics for 90 min, water over 12 glasses and killer windshield wipers only 25 done. I have a bad back, so I was shocked to even get that many done. Sorry Team

Hth, great job on the 90 minutes! That got us 40 points right there! Awesome! Wtg on the windshield wipers things too, those were hard! I barely got them done and I can sure feel it today! Still waiting on bmccrory and I will get our points in for yesterday...so far, we have 180 for the day.

I just got my wood chops done...using soup cans for some extra weight. Not bad, but with the stuff that we've been doing the past couple of days, I am certainly feeling it! And that's a good thing! Using muscles that I forgot I had! :-)

I barely got my water in last night. Downed the last couple of cups right before bed, so I ended up having to get up twice to go to the bathroom. :-( So, I am trying to get my 8 in early today.

Not sure how my sodium is going to be today. I am heading to my parent's house and will be eating there, so I am at the mercy of my mom's cooking a little bit. But I will still make good decisions. And I will be taking a walk today too! :-)

I still haven't heard from bmccrory, but I am going to have to turn in our points anyway. I know weekends can be crazy though.

We are doing a great job, let's keep it up!

    Finished wood chops.

Sodium - will be under. I'm always under if i don't eat out. DH blood pressure is high and we avoid any salty items and cooking with any salt. Too bad more restaurants don't follow suit.

exercise: working in the garden again today. will post back if i have any energy left to throw in something else. if only there were points for weeding......

crud...im sodium over. ugh. who would have thought a sundried tomato wrap (new here) would have 570 grams of sodium!!! plus the blue cheese i added thinking i had room, ugh. sorry gals.

    off to ride the bike.

 ok...pennance exercise bike done. 56 minutes to get 15 miles.

    you guys are rocking!

@making moves - 4 mile walk....that's terrific. i have been doing 2.6 for awhile now (with a bit of jogging at one minute intervals-the max my knees take) and had to push the extra .4 the other day to get 3 miles in. even that seemed long lol. love love love the walks though if the weather is good.

@hthfamily - 90 minutes - wow. 60 seems to be my max on good days. wish i had access to a pool. we have a pond on the property but the fish nip at you...heck maybe that would make me move faster now that i think about it....

@misty - yeah to our fearless leader on taking the water hit. hope you enjoy the family and walk.....

@bmccrory - hoping to see you post soon. it's all good......

Just got wood chops done, not bad. Sodium should be under no problem. Taking a day off from exercising to spend with my family. May jump in the pool later and work out, will post if I do.

Keep up the good work team!!

Woohoo, butters1!!! Totally saved our Sunday! She earned 160 points for us!

No problem, bmccrory2. I understand crazy days. I will try to wait as long as I can to turn in points, so when you have just a minute come update us! :-) Also, if your diary is unlocked I can check those things out.

I have to confess that I was low earner yesterday, I dropped the ball, sorry ladies. I was no where near under my sodium. That's not something I normally track, so it was an eye opener for me.

Ok, I would love to know your names. I know that MakinMoves is Stephanie...but I feel weird talking to you guys and typing in your screen name. If not, that's ok too. Just throwing that out there! :-)
