Question about my exercise and calorie goals....

OK, so I have been on here for a little over a week now and loving it! I just have one question. When I started MFP I only put in that I would be exercising twice a week for 15 minutes each. Well, I have ended up exercising almost everyday and most days more than 15 minutes. I do pretty good at eating back some of my exercise calories but what I am wondering is, should I adjust my initial information so that my calories automotically increase or should I keep it the same? To be honest, I don't think I could eat anymore calories than I do right now. I am losing very well already. Thank you for taking the time to answer. Have a blessed day!

if its not broken, don't fix it.. I think that if your not hungry and your losing the weight, then keep it that way, as long as you eat about 1200 calories a day, and drink a lot of water 6-8 cups a day, and exercising daily, you will be good :)... Good luck in your journey....After you lose 10 pounds it will ask you if u want to adjust your goal setting so its really up to you if you want to change it.

The "estimate" for exercise won't affect your calories. It's only there so you have a goal to reach each day / week. The only time calories change from exercise is when you ACTUALLY log in the exercise.

Your calories will change if you adjust your activity level, say from sedentary to lightly active. But at this point, since you've only been at it for a short time, I'd leave it as is...for now

    hope that helps

If it's working, then I would keep it the way is is for now. When you hit a plateau, then you can change things up. Welcome to MFP! And good luck on your journey! :)
