Just wondering if anyone else suffers with the pains of not being able to throw food away???? I have such a hard time tossing things out...could be from my childhood days when my family had some bad times and all we would have all day is some bread to eat. ( could have been the foundation to start my eating addictions)...I will actually throw the food in the freezer till i can dream up some use for it. THATS just ridiculous!!! I'm getting a little better...sometimes my guardian angel gives me a push to the garbage pail but hell she has a hard time pushing a 240 lb lady!! LOL!! Just was wondering if anyone else suffers from this as well....my thought for today...

This all comes down to portion control. Why are you cooking more than you will eat? I either cook what I need, or I cook extra and freeze entire meals to use when we've had a busy day.

Or use leftovers for lunches the next day.

YOU are soooo right!!! I had to do the cooking for my family for soooo long....I forgot how to reduce it down once everyone went their own way...I'll have to start practising smaller potfuls... Thanks for that honest answer...i needed that!

WHEW!!!! Then i am normal!!! I try to be conscientious, and go to clean out fridge feeling very strong , but as the process continues...i end up wrapping the leftovers up and freezing them...UGH!!! I am starting to make myself more aware of how much i cook..and i am making better choices to get rid of it ...its baby steps..
