I just started using Wen shampoo/conditioner and want to know if anyone else got sucked into their infomercial enough to try it?? I've only been using it for about a week.

For those to who don't know what Wen is, it's a non-lathering shampoo/conditioner. Watch an infomercial and you will want to have those girls' hair!

I've bought some (make sure you cancel it before they ship out another shipment if you don't want to continue using it because it's on a continuous cycle where they keep charging and sending it out).

It's different and I've got thick hair but I have not used it enough to see if it really gets those results. My hairstylist recommended it and I've got an awesome hairstylist - but I've also got color treated hair so stopped until I see him again to ask if I should use it as my regular shampoo/conditioner.

Yep, sucker here! I tried it, but my very fine hair just couldn't hold any body when I used that stuff. I tried it several times with no luck.

Yes!!! I ADORE it! My hair has gotten so much healthier and happier not using regular shampoo. Most regular shampoo has "sodium laureth suflate" in it - aka a salt (sodium) that they use to create that lather that we think gets our hair clean. Really all it does is dry it out. My friend just stopped shampooing after seeing what Wen did for me and she just uses regular mint conditioner in lieu of shampoo (Wen was too expensive for her) and it works almost as well.

Ooh, good thread, I've seen those infomercials and was tempted but never taken the plunge (I'm a total sucker for hair stuff!).

I wonder if I can track some down cheap on Fleabay......

On a side note, has anyone tried Sheer Cover mineral makeup, and does it work as well as they say? Gotta love infomercials LOL.

I've been using a generic of Wen actually....Hair One from Sally's Beauty Supply. Half the cost....

Anyways, i like it so far, but i agree with @dmoses to a certain extent. I have very fine hair as well and I just can't seem to get volume with it!! I'm wondering if I'm not fixing it like Chaz would recommend.

If you have hair that is naturally voluminous, then this could be a great product for you. I on the other hand have limp hair and i can never get it to 'fluff' enough without feeling grimy!
