So, today I reach my 10 lbs lost mark. I've done really well so far. In the last 2-3 weeks there are a few things that I've learned.

1. The calorie goal isn't as daunting as it was to begin with. I realize how much food I was actually eating based on the urges I got.

2. It's a lot easier to lose weight when you're doing it with other people especially when you're not watching them eat a giant pizza.

3. You have to do it for yourself, otherwise it makes it more difficult to stick to.

This plan works and what makes it even better is that I'm not paying 17-30 bucks a month to do something to make my life easier and healthier. I feel better, I can actually wake up in the mornings. Hopefully by this time next year I'll have reached my goal and I can have my 2nd and last child.
Here's to hoping I make it!

Awesome!! Its so true, the calories only seem daunting because we are used to eating ourselves silly, lol, at least, that's how I got fat. Ugh. I enjoy, to an extent the control I am gaining through my calorie counting and although I still have the occasional urge to dive, head first into a bag of chips, I refrain because my ultimate goal is far more enjoying.
