My dog helps me work out!

Well...sort of.
He's a greyhound, and he's incredibly buff, even though he hasn't officially raced in (I think) 3 years now. My goal is to be as ripped as he is, or close to it.
I started the 30DS 10 days ago. I work out every night after work. My routine is to come home, greet DH, greet Earl (the dog), change my clothes, and go work out in the basement. Earl usually stays upstairs, where there's a carpted floor, his comfy bed, peanut butter, treats, etc. He does have a bed/blanket downstairs, but it's not as big and squishy. Plus, we just don't usually spend as much time down there.
For about the past 6 nights, though, Earl has been following me downstairs. He'll run to the middle of my workout area, ears perked up, and look at me as if to say "C'mon, Mom! Let's go!" And he stays in that area until I'm moving my butt. Then he'll lay (lie? I'm never sure!) down on his bed. He gets a bit worried when I'm doing crunches - it's like he's not sure if that's part of the routine or if I'm just slacking off - so he comes and sticks his big long nose in my face - but once I'm back up he goes back to his bed.
Last night, after I changed into my workout clothes, I tried an experiment. I yelled out, "Come on, Earl, let's go work out!" and he headed for the stairs! :glasses: I love my puppy boy.
Now if he would just stop trying to sniff my butt when I'm doing yoga...

My dog hangs out with me when I do Zumba and when I stretch afterwards he will lay (lie.. I'm not sure either) next to me and stretch too.. I swear!0 -

lol yes our dog is also very supportive, when I do my exercises he will lay (lie... I am totally clueless which is right) on his back and kick his legs around, only problem is that i cannot do anything laying on my back, he will immediately lay down next to me and put his head on my shoulder.0

I have a St. Bernard/Boxer mix and he likes to get in the way {help} when I am working out too. And so you know, "People lie, items lay." So I guess that means he will lie down because dogs are fur-people... LOL0

I'm a dog lover so I clicked on your message to read . . . you are blessed to have such great company! My little girl (mini schnauzer) is nine years old and is super mellow and sweet - my bestest friend for sure!0

My dogs just like trying to lick the sweat off of me. And they like to lay down in front of me when I'm doing push-ups. Makes me not fail though because who wants dog but in your face? hah0

Love it!! My dog keeps me in line by waking me up and whining if I don't get up for our morning walk. Thanks to her I walk at least an hour almost every morning.0

Funny! I just came from outside after chasing my galgo (kind of greyhound) mix Saint Bernard dog and thinking what an amazing work out that can be if I did it everyday! No wonder she is so slender, she likes to run every minute she can! BUT IF I DANCE...she gets all worried like something is happening to me and try to stop me
NOTHING LIKE DOGS!0
