Because seems like it does have a REALLY BIG impact on weight loss:

I know I don't eat lots of dairy products. Never did (even when I was young). I know for sure now that I do need calcium supplements (I already take Vitamine D supplements).

I make sure to get in at least one calcium type of food a day: milk, cheese, yogurt. I know I definitely don't get near what I should. A glass of skim milk every morning is my first goal to increasing calcium intake.

I take 1500mg a day of calcium citrate (it absorbs the most) -- plus I eat a ton of greek yogurt, soy milk and cheese!

I take a lot of vitamins though --- a good multi, calcium citrate, vitamin D3, iron + vitamin C, omega-3, probiotic, B-12, biotin, magnesium, b complex

Like a 12oz block of Weyauwega Aged Cheddar. Safe assumption that's why I've gotten fat.

I have mixed feelings about that article, but after reading it I found this one:

I added calcium to my diary and some days I don't get nearly enough. :o

    Thanks for posting :)

I take a food based calcium supplement because I'm on depo, but I don't eat much in the way of dairy, so its something I track and try to go over the 100 recommended each day, I get half of that from the supplement.

I take a multivitamin w/ 50% DV of calcium, and my food pretty much always amounts to at least 40% DV. Osteoporosis is very common in my family, so I try to watch that. I take Centrum women's ultra solely because they have this much calcium in a slightly-less-than-horse-pill sized one-a-day (though it could definitely use more B-vitamins). Whenever I buy separate calcium supplements, I never keep up with taking them.
