During the week at work I do ok, because I can only eat what I brought with me, but the weekends I am hungry constantly. What foods fill you up more? Will this hunger go away eventually? I have been drinking water, I seriously just don't feel full

Having stuff with protein, such as chicken or peanut butter, really help fill you up. Also, Fiber One bars are great too.

try drinking hot tea in between meals. I like the fun fruity flavored ones! It feels like you are getting a treat (its slightly sweet) and it distracts you from snacking!

Eat stuff with lots of fiber and protein. These help make you feel full longer.

I usually find a banana really filling.
Also, since they are in season right now, have you ever tried tried a Honeycrisp apple? OMG, they are awesome! And they're huge. I'll sit and munch on one for like a half hour.
Almonds are a great snack, but stay away from the salty ones, not just for sodium reasons, but the salt makes you want more and more.
And lastly, get nuts that are IN the shell (walnuts, pecans, sunflower...) because the time and effort of shelling cuts down on how much you noshe.

(hmm - all fruit and nut recommendations... did I just promote the CA stereotype?)

I second the teas, drinking a hot beverage really makes me feel full, and I like my tea black so it's calorie free  otherwise grab a bowl of grapes or carrot sticks or sliced cucumber or something similar and snack away. I like those because it feels like I'm eating a lot, it takes a long time to eat it, and they are lower calorie options. :drinker:

are you doing your water sis?? That helps me, although I have to be honest in saying I haven't starved at all. Usually hard to eat all my calories. Do you do much sugar? Is your meal plan pretty much balanced and in sync with your food journal? denise

Lean Pockets are good I like the sausage, egg, and cheese ones they are 140 calories per pocket  or just toast and two eggs for breakfast really isn't that many calories as long as you use spray butter!

Sometimes I get Subway and eat half the sub for lunch and half for dinner...that is usually a Saturday or Sunday meal for me (I'm not a tea drinker or a veggie eater...:noway: I know I'm weird, but SOMETHING must be working cause I did my measurements and I lost an inch off waist and inch off hips yahoo!)

special k protein water is good but what about staying busy- when your at work your busy and have a routine but when there is no routine for home life you may want to munch because your bored or whatever-
