Ideas for healthy snacks

I'm going food shopping this week, and I would like to try new things. I usually get trail mix, dried and fresh fruit, rice cakes and stuff for snacks, but I'm getting bored of them and would like to try something new to liven things up. Anyone got any favorite snacks they truly enjoy/can't live without?

Try different fruit and veg options, rather than grains or rice cakes!
There are a ton of fruit and vegetables coming into season right now and should be awesome for snacks. Apples, peaches, nectarines, chard, bok choy and figs are all right in harvest. There is lots more yumminess to come - check out cherries and other healthy, yummy snacks at the farmer's market.0 -
Lately my snacks, besides fruit, I am really liking the 60calorie sugar free jello's, yoplait dessert yogurts, mini rice cakes, popcorn, and cheese and crackers.0

light mini baby bell cheeses .... YUM.0

Some of my personal favorite snacks:
+Hummus with fresh veggies - I like the 3 Olive Hummus especially that I get at Walmart
+Fresh fruit with a cheese stick - I like the pepperjack cheese especially!
+Laughing Cow Cheese wedges - alone, on toast, on fruit...these are pretty much awesome in all ways
+Raw nuts - I prefer pecans and cashews
+Pickles - I know they're high in sodium but sometimes, I really need a low cal, super salty snack, I fluctuate between those ones from the fridge section that are still crunchy and plain old hamburger dill chips (sometimes I splurge and dip them in ketchup and mustard - SOOOO good!)
+Larabars or other protein bar that you like
+Hardboiled egg - just whites if you're really watching fat but I prefer mine with yolk0 -
Hey I made these banana pancakes but to make it a little healthier I used all whole wheat flour and doubled the cocoa powder. hahah but back to the recipe, it says it makes 5 pancakes but i got like 15 medium sized ones out of it and they were really soft so i've been making them and eating one or two like cookies as a sweet low cal snack (like 45 cals a cake). here's the recipe http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CCAQFjAA&url=http://www.food.com/recipe/low-fat-whole-wheat-banana-pancakes-123243&rct=j&q=low fat banana pancakes&ei=t44zTrCWF4LHgAfYraicDQ&usg=AFQjCNGhJqncUHh8xVZlB0GpBSWQ6tx6rQ&cad=rja0

I love the 90 calorie special Kay pretzel bars! I feel like I get a candy bar lol also higher calorie but more solid a hard boiled egg or a slice of cheese around 3pm helps me get till dinner. I also find some icecream or frozen treats that are 100 calories or less. Really its just about a good rotation. Don't do days of the same thing, even chocolate cake would get old....lol maybe. :-) good luck! And seriously the pretzel bars are life changing!0

I Veggie Chips and Veggie Stix. Heck, even my kids love them! I believe they are made by Good Nature...0

I am obsessed with topping half a banana with a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. I know I should save it for a treat because of the fat and sugar, but I end up eating it like once a day (in fact, I just had it as my nighttime snack...officially designating today a cheat day, but OH WELL). Seriously, though, it's so tasty and filling and combines fat, carbs, and even some protein, so it's great for pre-workout or any taxing activity. 161 cals, 20 carbs, 8 fat, 6 protein.0

ALSO I consider there to be two types of hunger--the rumbly stomach and the fatigue of low blood sugar. If you have the former without the latter, there is nothing more filling and guilt-free than a giant bowl of fresh, raw veggies and two or three glasses of water. I like sugar snap peas, sliced bell peppers, celery, carrots, and sometimes broccoli although raw broccoli tends to weird me out. If you don't like plain vegetables, try mixing 1/2 teaspoon of Hidden Valley ranch powder (the flavoring you are supposed to mix with milk and sour cream to make your own ranch dressing) with two tablespoons fat-free plain yogurt for dipping.0

I like the Laughing Cow spreadable cheese wheel.
They come with their own little snack wedges that are 35 calories each. I buy Club mini multi-grain crackers with it & that's usually my 3:00 snack at work - you know, post-lunch but too early for dinner? - So perfect.0 -
I like the danimals coolision things, only 60 calories, and you can freeze them, and it's like having ice cream.
I have greek yogurt, not exactly low-cal, but it's worth it because of the protein. (no, I'm not obsessed with yogurt.)
Apples and peanut butter is perfect for before a workout, because apples give you energy, and peanut butter has protein.0 -
I found my new favorite snack. Naked juice Green Machine.0

My new personal favorite are Trader Joe's Fruit and Nut Trek brand of granola bars... I think that's what they call them. I'm currently stuck on the regular 130-calorie fruit-and-nut ones, I love how it has no artificial flavors or preservatives or anything, and how it's not overly sweet, doesn't taste like cardboard, and how all the sweetness is natural. They also have ones with chocolate, for 180 calories.0
