Concerned I'm not getting enough calories - BMR vs MFP

So I looked up my BMR and it is way over what MFP is telling me to eat. I have my goal set at 1 pound a week, and I'm about 30 lbs away from my goal weight. I walk/jog 3-5 days a week, but I am sedentary otherwise since I have a desk job. MFP is telling me to eat 1300 calories a week, but my online BMR calculators are suggesting 1500+.

My concern is that I will lose weight initially, but will mess up my metabolism and then gain it all back.

Any input? How accurate is an online BMR calculator?
