I want to purchase an HRM, I want accurance but do not like the idea of wearing a watch. I do alot of outdoor activities and don't want a tanline on my wrist. (Yeah I know...) Any suggestions?

Wear a long sleeved shirt. . . lol. . . . Seriously though as long as you have one with the chest strap. . that is where the reading is coming from so you could put the wrist band somewhere else. . .

I find it convenient to have on my wrist, but that does not mean that is where it has to be. . . Good luck.

I believe Polar makes a bluetooth version so that the chest strap can communicate with a smart phone. Check out Amazon.com.

Get one with an armband? Or as suggested, a watch technically doesn't have to be attached to your wrist. As long as the watch can sense the signal.

Unfortunately unless you purchase a body media fit or a body bugg(both of which are expensive to purchase and have monthly fees), your going to have to get one with a watch.

Honestly, depending on how much your wearing it out doors, you prob. won't get tan line from it. You'd have to wear it almost 24/7 outside before you started to see a tan line.. and even if you do get one, then put some sunless tanner on it to even it out if it bugs you that much.

How about wearing it on your left wrist one day, then switch it to the right wrist the next day?
