so the kiddo is pestering me for fried zuchinni... i can't really be annoyed that she's asking for a vegetable I guess. But, would it be possible to make "oven fried" zuchinni instead? If so, how long would I bake it for and what temp

If you have a George Foreman grill or something like that, that's what I would recommend. But as far as oven baking, depends how thick you slice it... I usually do bell peppers or mushrooms at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.0

I'd stick with raw.. or grilled with a dash of salt&pepper0

she's asking for fried... If she wanted it raw, I probably wouldn't be asking. Just sayin...

I have some zucchini in the oven right now. its
1/2 panko bread crumbs
1-2 tablespoons parmeson cheese (sorry about my spelling)
1 large zucchini thinly sliced
and a tiny bit of milk
dipped the zucchini in the milk, then into the bread crumb/cheese mixture and then onto a baking sheet 400-30 minutes.0 -

dont cook for 30 minutes. Mine all came out burnt. I think probably 20 minutes would of done.0

I plan to give these eventually (like when it isn't already super hot in my house without turning the oven on!).

I made these the other night and they were a big hit....
slice your zuc how you like it. ( i make mine into frinch frie stick)
dip in egg whites or egg substittue
then roll in breadcrubs with garlic powder and parmsean cheese ( I used stuffing for crumbs but needed to grind it finer)
lay on a baking sheet and bake at 425 for 20- 30 minutes.
I served them up with marinara sauce HUGE HIT!0 -

I tried this last night and it was YUMMY! I did change the cooking time to 20 minutes per your suggestion and it was just right. Thanks!0
