I'm new and would love some friends!

My name is Rachel and I am a 22 year old mother of two. I have always been fat but during this past pregnancy I definitely gained the most ever at 291! It was humiliating because that number just isn't me. I am new to this app but not to calorie counting, which had been successful in the past but I didn't stick to it long enough. During that time I lost nearly 10 lbs which wasn't much for me. Now I am armed with a gym membership and zumba which, combined with calorie counting, helped me lose 6 lbs in only a week! I am definitely excited and gun-ho now but when I start teaching again and going to school again I know I may need help. Pretty please? I need to be kept accountable.

Feel free to add me! I'm a 24 year old mom to one (just turned 2). I too have always had weight issues, but when I was pregnant with my son, I ballooned up to 249. I am only 5'3, so that is HUGE on my frame. I did drop to 241 after my son was home from the hospital, but then I was stuck. So I consider 241 my "highest weight", since the 249 was the day I had my son (before labor was induced).
I started counting calories on a different site and exercising in August 2010 and by January 2011 I had lost 30 pounds. Then my mom had health issues & I had to stay with her for several months, which is 5 hours from my apartment & away from my fitness center. :-( I gained back 15 lbs of what I had lost.
Now I am home and I have gotten back on track. Counting calories and exercising works, I know it does from past experience. Now I just have to stick with it!
Good luck!0
