Hey ya'll! I joined MFP in Jan, but dropped off the wagon when my grandma died. I am the type that has a hard time getting back on the wagon when I fall off. Well I got the wake up call I needed last week. The results from my yearly blood work at work came back on Wed. While not "bad" they wern't what I wantef them to be. My total cholesterol is good, but my "bad" was 10 points to high. My wake up call was my risk for chronic heart disease ratio. It should be under 1.0 and.it wad .9. I don't like being that close to the high end. My weight and lack of exercise is what's bringing my HDL "good cholesterol" down and putting me at risk. This has to STOP!!! I can't eat myself to death. I have a husband and 3 beautiful children to live for if not just for myself. I am taking it one day at the time. No goals.....just get HEALTHY!!!

Few facts:
I am 30.
Married for 12 1/2 years to my highschool sweetheart.
3 kids...girl age 13, boy age 8 & boy age 5.
I am a southern gal and love country living!!!

  • Hey Jessica -- Welcome back!~ People fall off the wagon, it happens but it's not the end of the world (this time hehe). The important part is that you're back on, and I hope you stay on this time!

Aw, whenever I hear that someone has married their high school sweetheart I can't help but smile! :) Congrats on making it past your first decade (it seems as though it's a lot harder to do these days).

I wish you good luck and great success! :flowerforyou:
