Why can't everyone decide to be healthy when I do?

OK, so I know that's NOT going to happen. I have been doing really good eating lately and tonight my fiance asks me to make him something for dessert. (I love baking & cake decorating although I haven't been doing it lately.) So, I just figured I'd look for some recipes that I can make with ingredients that we have here. I was fine until now! I haven't been craving these foods & now I see all these mouth watering pictures. I was thinking about making brownies or something. It's so difficult- I don't want any but I do. I know I can not make a whole pan of anything right now because I have some more calories that I need to eat tonight & I don't want that as an excuse. Grrr.... This is frustrating & I'm just annoyed that he even continues to ask me for these thing when he knows I'm not eating them. I haven't been depriving myself either I eat some chocolate & stuff every now and then. I just know if I make brownies right now I will want half the pan!!

Can you make it later, after you eat? Then you can just take a small one for treat0

I have a partner who has a sweet tooth also. She eats whatever she wants and doesnt gain a pound. It's sickening!!
What I do is try to keep healthy alternatives for myself to snack on when she snacks. Like watermelon or cantaloupe. Also to feed the craving for chocolate I make Jell-O Chocolate fat free sugar free pudding with fat free milk. It helps reduce the cravings for chocolate. To spice it up alittle once in awhile I add Smuckers sugar free caramel topping and its still a low cal snack.
Good Luck!! Stay Strong!!0 -
There are many alternative recipes out there, that can make your favorite snacks "healthier" by substituting regular eggs for eggs whites..etc. Here is a website I use.... http://www.eatbetteramerica.com/default.aspx
Hope I helped!!0 -
Thanks guys! I guess it's strawberries & blueberries with graham cracker crumbs for me & a mug cake or something (only 1 serving) for him I will definitely use that website0
