Ok, I'm super into making cupcakes! love to make and decorate them etc. with that said.......how do you calculate the calories in the cupcake so it can be put into the food tracker. For example I'll use the Pillsbury moist supreme strawberry cake mix then make a icing and a filling for the cupcake, so how in the world should I go about figuring out the calories??

You're going to just have to add up everything you use. Use the Recipe feature under Food, and enter in the cals of the mix, the cals of the filling (or add up all the ingredients that go into it if you're not just using icing or jam or something), and the cals of the frosting or decorations.

It is quite the grunt work.
I just made black bean lava cakes and had to log the whole thing.. yet for one cake being 107 cals, it was so worth the looking up! ;)

Anyways, a good place to start is by doing your own recipe, or following a simple one and logging each ingredient separately. here are some examples of easy recipes:
    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/easy-chocolate-cupcakes/detail.aspx - A good chocolate cupcake.
    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/easy-black-bottom-cupcakes/detail.aspx - A little more advanced.. black-bottom cupcakes!
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/peanut-butter-cup-cupcakes/detail.aspx - Everyone's favorite guilty pleasure.. PB and chocolate!

Allrecipes.com is good, they give you the calories and basic nutritional information for each recipe. Also, if you need substitutions, people will post their replacements (dairy allergy, no eggs, ect.) under the comments.
    Good luck! :flowerforyou:
